Practice Mode

Single Note drills one pitch at a time, Melody plays short generated phrases, Songs plays real excerpts from classical pieces, Interval trains recognizing and singing the distance between two notes.

Note Order

Order

Sequential works through your selected notes in order; Random picks one at a time in no particular order; Smooth mostly steps to a neighboring note with the occasional leap, for a more singable contour; Adaptive plays whichever notes you're currently missing more often, easier ones less.

Cadence

Plays a short tonic–dominant–tonic chord in the current key before each note/melody — a tonal reference so you're judging pitch relative to "home," not from scratch.

Drone

Holds a quiet, sustained tonic note underneath the note/melody — a lighter, continuous alternative (or companion) to Cadence.

Display

Note Names

Western shows letter names (C, D♯…). Indian shows Hindustani swara names (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni) relative to your selected root, with a dot above the letter for a higher octave and a dot below for a lower one. Solfège shows movable-do syllables (Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti) relative to your selected root, with the octave number after the syllable.
